Abstract Submission Guidelines

The Scientific Committee invites authors to submit abstracts in the area of haematology for the 21st MSH ASM 2024.

Abstracts can be submitted accordingly as Clinical or Laboratory categories. Accepted abstracts will be presented as e-posters.

  1. Abstract should be written in English.
  2. Word limit for the text (excluding title, name of authors and affiliations) is up to 500 words.
  3. Word limit for title is not more than 20 words.
  4. Microsoft Word file format should be used for submission.
  5. All words should be in ‘Times New Roman’ font, font size 12, single line spacing.
  6. Tables, figures, references, photographs and diagrams are not allowed in the abstract.
  7. Title should be in the format of ‘UPPERCASE’, ‘bold’ font style, ‘left’ alignment. Don’t underline the title. Don’t put ‘.’ (full stop) at the end of the title.
  8. Names of authors should be in the format of ‘Capitalise Each Word’; ‘bold’ font style, ‘left’ alignment. Underline the presenting author.
  9. Affiliations should be in the format of ‘Italic’ font style, ‘left’ alignment. To use semi-colon (;) between affiliations. Affiliations should not be in ‘bold’ font style. Don’t underline.
  10. Write the email address of the corresponding author.

  12. The text of the abstract should be in the format of ‘justified’ alignment.
  13. Spelling & grammar should be checked.
Important Note
  1. All abstract submitter must create account and submit abstract in the portal.
  2. The presenting author need not be the first author.
  3. All presenting authors must be registered for the conference before abstract submission is allowed.
  4. Abstract submissions are limited to a maximum of 3 abstracts per presenting author.
  5. All abstracts must be submitted via the online abstract submission platform on the conference website. Late submissions, email and paper submissions will not be allowed.
  6. The corresponding author of all accepted abstracts will be notified via email. If the first author is not presenting, it is his/her responsibility to inform the presenting author regarding the presentation.
  7. All successful abstracts will be displayed on the virtual conference platform.
Abstract Review

All abstracts will be reviewed by the Abstract Committee.


The Abstract Committee reserves the rights to:

  • Select the abstracts relevant to the category.
  • Decide on the final form of presentation (Oral or E-Poster presentation).
